Self-Love and Self-Empowerment Photo Sessions

Self-empowerment and self-love are big in my life. I spent many years not being able to feel comfortable in my skin let alone let others see what was under the clothes. I wore nothing but leggings and extra-large shirts but would not show any of my skin because I was simply unhappy with myself. I chose to change my habits and realize that I am beautiful.  You are beautiful! Affirmations are key in this! Although, I do not feel comfortable all the time and I criticize myself the most, but I know that it is something that I am working on! Most will understand exactly what I am saying and feeling.

So, I want to help you see that you are beautiful inside an out! I want you to step out of the comfort zone and create a positive thought about yourself! I want to show no two women are the same but we are all beautiful! This is my goal of these sessions, to create confidence in yourself and to have that shine on your day-to-day life!

We are starting with Haunted Witchy, and we will lead into other types of sessions that will help you feel empowered to show off who you really are with confidence! I will also be doing a witchy session (bit harder as the photographer) to show my true self to everyone!

Other ideas I have coming are “Santa Baby” or “Bombshell” Solo Sessions. These will be home based and special pricing for models. I will always thrive to keep my prices in the range that people can afford.

This is a very strong statement in my book. I AM ME!

I am new to this whole blogging thing but I thought I would give it a shot starting with who I am. Well I am Me...

What does that mean you ask? 

I am a women who loves photography, music, family, pets, and sunsets. I like driving fast down curvy roads. What I absolutely love the most is offering portraits to families who don't think they can afford pictures. I love giving them the option to watch their family grow in pictures without them worrying about cost. The smiles that come knowing that they get these pictures make my heart melt. The fact that I have returning customers because of how I interact with their families and the low cost makes me smile when I wake up on a Saturday. 

I am a person who can be a serious adult or a kid at heart. I have so many nieces and nephews that taught me how to handle all sorts of kids from newborn to seniors in high school. I admit when a toddler cries I laugh because I know they have no clue what they are crying for! I enjoying making funny faces and noises or saying words like "poop" or "butt" to make a little boy or girl laugh. Those are the things I live for in my life.

Who am I outside of photography?

Well I am a parent of an amazing man who has a wonderful wife. These two gave me the greatest gift by making me a grandma of 2 little boys and a girl. I could not be any prouder of the man he has become and will continue to be. I have a wonderful boyfriend who doesn't always understand why I work my weekends away but yet supports me just the same. Fall can be a rough time for a family who has a photographer and a hunter in it! Time slips away and before you know it Thanksgiving is here! I have pets (I could adopt more but I am not allowed) my dog and 3 cats. These furry babies are also my world because they comfort, love, and annoy me just like any child one!

I work full time as a Human Resource Specialist and I am a full time student getting my Masters degree in Human Resources. All this seem like I have a full plate right? Who would want to do all this work and homework during the week just to work the weekend taking photos? ME! That is who! I do this for my customers. I offer specials throughout the year at low prices to see how happy people are to get them done. I love my clients whether they come back or decide they want something different. I am just thankful to get a chance to meet them!

With fall fast approaching, I get so excited to see my repeat clients! I love this job and I wouldn't change it for the world! (Ok well maybe a few million but that will never happen!!!
